Charles Totemoff

Charles W. Totemoff serves as Chairman of the Board at GTT, a role he assumed following Chenega Corporation’s majority acquisition of the company. A respected business leader and Alaska Native advocate, Mr. Totemoff brings decades of executive experience and a deep commitment to economic empowerment in underserved communities. Raised in the village of Chenega, Mr. Totemoff’s life and leadership have been shaped by resilience and service. He was elected to the Chenega Corporation Board of Directors in 1983 and has served as its Chairman, President, and CEO since 1988. Under his guidance, Chenega has grown into one of the most successful Alaska Native corporations. Mr. Totemoff is also Chairman of the Chenega IRA Council, a federally recognized tribal government. He serves on the boards of the Alaska Native Village Corporation Association and the Native American Contractors Association, advocating for Native rights and sustainable economic development. He holds a B.A. in Organizational Management, a Certificate in Professional Management (Accounting & Finance), and an M.B.A. from Alaska Pacific University.
